Little dashers, 10 and under, will complete a 1K(ish) loop within Seattle Center Grounds. Parents can run with their kids without registering and kids can complete the 5K course with their families after the 1K Leprechaun Lap without registering for the 5K

Packet Pickup Options – Kids can pick up their race packets (including shirt, bib & timing chip) either Saturday (3/12) from 10am – 4pm at Super Jock n’ Jill Green Lake or from 7am – 8:15am on race day near the international fountain at Seattle Center.

8:15AM Leprechaun Lap Start – Kids Race Start near the International Fountain.

Kids will receive an event shirt, timing chip and free participant photos!

For 2022 – The event will start as one mass start at 8:45am. The event will start on Seattle Center grounds near the international fountain. To ensure all participants have a great race, please line up within the start corral according to your anticipated race pace.

If you plan on Dashing (running), please line up near the front. Jogging the event? Line up towards the middle, behind the people planning to run. Walking? Please line up behind the runners and joggers. This will ensure everyone is able to start at the pace they’d like to.

All participants will receive a timing chip and your race doesn’t start until you cross the line.

Ample street parking is available throughout the neighborhoods as well as Seattle Center parking garages will be open. Please pay attention to all “no-parking” signs as City of Seattle will be towing vehicles off the race route.

If you plan to stick around for the Post-Dash Bash, please drive responsibly and plan ahead for rides home if needed.

Gear check will be available near the International Fountain from 7:00am – 10:00am. Please pick up your checked gear immediately after your run. Our volunteers want to enjoy the Post-Dash Bash as well!

The St. Patrick’s Day Dash is committed to producing a fun, engaging event for everyone while ensuring the safety of all participants. We will follow all health and safety guidelines outlined by local and state government guidelines. Thank you in advance for following our guidelines to ensure the safety of your fellow participants and allowing us to hold this fun event.

Because this event happens after the proof of vaccination mandate will be lifted (March 1), we will not be requiring proof of vaccination to participate. Masks still must be worn in the beer garden though as it is an indoor space. If this guideline changes, we will adapt with it as well.

Registration fees are non-refundable. In an instance where the event is cancelled due to something outside of our control, we will transfer race entries to another 2022 event, defer to the 2023 event or offer a virtual race for participants.
